What is companionship care?
Our companionship care service is different from a standard live-in care package – it is a service for those who are still healthy but are isolated and lonely. Our live-in carers live with your loved one in their own home as their ‘companion’. They are primarily there to reduce or prevent their loneliness. It is especially useful for families who are living miles apart and are unable to visit regularly. Families have peace of mind knowing someone is there around the clock to support their loved one, help with food shopping. taking them on trips or just having someone there for a friendly chat.
What does our companionship care service include?
Together with providing emotional support on a daily basis, our live-in carers are also there to help with the following:
• Cooking nutritious meals
• GP/Hospital appointments
• Accompany you on trips and visits
